725 1. With the player in StandBy mode, press TITLE, CLEAR, POWER on the remote control.
2. The player will display a system menu on screen.
3. Be careful with some of the options, but choice of region is apparently in this menu.
4. Press POWER on the remote when finished to complete the change.

2. Press EJECT/OPEN on the player.
3. Put a region 1 disc into the tray, but don't do anything else.
4. Press PLAY on the remote control repeatedly and as fast as you can. The film will start eventually.

1. Press and hold CIRCLE, RIGHT and L1.
2. Press and hold L3 and push the stick in hard.
3. Boot into the PS2 browser without a CD/DVD in the tray.
4. Press CIRCLE and R1 on the DVD
5. Hold RIGHT until a menu appears.
6. Press CIRCLE and R1 again.
Method 4:
1. Load the DVD into the PS2.
2. At the browser screen, select the CD icon the press and hold SQUARE then CIRCLE until the DVD menu appears, holding both buttons all of the time.
3. Either select the PLAY icon or the MOVIE START icon.

4. Highlight the region
5. Change to 9 (for Multi-region) using the 'Enter' button
