  Applicable Users
  EXILIM owners whose camera is still running Version
  1.00-1.01 firmware.
  
  Important:
  If firmware update installation is interrupted due to
  low battery power, your camera will no longer be able to
  operate. Be sure to load a fresh set of new batteries
  into the camera before starting the firmware update
  installation procedure. Note that you perform firmware
  update at your own risk.
  
  Attention users in Russia and the Ukraine
  Updating the firmware of your camera to Version
  1.02 will cause your camera to lose its ability
  to display messages in Russian. After updating,
  you will be able to display messages in the
  following languages only: English, French,
  German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese,
  Chinese, or Korean. Update your firmware to
  Version 1.02 only if you agree to lose Russian
  display messages. Note also that there are no
  plans to offer a Russian language version of
  firmware update Version 1.02.
  
  To check your firmware version
  
  On your EX-Z750 camera, hold down the [MENU] button as
  you press the [POWER ON/OFF] switch to turn on the
  camera. Keep [MENU] depressed until the version of your
  camera's firmware appears on the monitor screen.
  
  1.If "Ver.1.00-1.01" appears, you need to download this
  update software and install it on your camera.
  2.If "Ver.1.02" appears, it means that your camera
  already is running the latest firmware version, so you
  do not need to install this update.
  
  
  
  Requirements for Installing This Update on Your Camera
  •To install this firmware update on your camera, you
  must copy it into the root directory (the top directory
  on the drive) of built-in camera memory or on a memory
  card. Because of this, you need to have the USB cable
  (that comes bundled with the camera) on hand or a card
  slot available on your computer.
  
  
  
  User License Agreement Covering Update Software Download
  *In order to download and use the update software, you
  must first read and agree to be bound by the terms and
  conditions of the End User Software Licensing Agreement
  (Agreement) below.
  *If, after carefully reading the Agreement, you agree to
  be bound by its terms and conditions, click the [I
  agree] button to advance to the download procedure.
  *Regardless of whether or not you actually do agree, by
  downloading this update software, you indicate your
  agreement to be bound the terms and conditions of the
  Agreement and establish a contractual agreement between
  you and CASIO COMPUTER CO., LTD. (CASIO).

  the Agreement, click [I do not agree] and do not

  End User Software Licensing Agreement

  1License
  CASIO, as the owner of this Software and other
  intellectual asset rights, grants you the
  following non-exclusive, non-transferrable,
  copyright license subject to the terms of this
  Agreement.
  1)You may install and use this Software on your
  CASIO EX-Z750 Digital Camera.
  2)You may make one copy of this Software on a
  memory card for the purpose of installing the
  software on your EX-Z750 Digital Camera.
  
  
  2Prohibitions
  1)Except as permitted by this Agreement, you may
  not copy this Software either in part or its
  entirety.
  2)You may not modify, alter, adapt, reverse
  engineer, disassemble, decompile or otherwise
  attempt to derive the source code of the Software.
  3)You may not resell, rend, lease, loan, or
  distribute this Software, or place the Software on
  a server or make it accessible by means of a
  network.
  4)You may not sublicense or transfer this Software
  to a third party.
  5)You may not use this Software for any unlawful
  purpose, or in any manner inconsistent with this
  Agreement.
  
  
  3Period of Agreement
  1)This Agreement becomes binding as soon as you
  download the Software.
  2)This Agreement becomes null and void when you
  destroy all of your copies of this Software.
  3)CASIO may terminate this license at any time if
  you are in breach of the terms of this Agreement.
  Upon termination, you will immediately destroy the
  all of your copies of this Software.
  
  
  4Limitation of Liability
  1)This Software is provided "as is," and CASIO
  makes no express warranty concerning the
  Software's ability to operate properly or to be
  free of defects, or concerning the correction of
  defects in the future, or the suitability of the
  Software functions for any particular purpose.
  2)In no event shall CASIO be liable for any
  damages whatsoever (including, without limitation,
  damages for loss of profits, business
  interruption, loss of information) arising out of
  the use of or inability to use this software, even
  if CASIO has been adviced of the possibility of
  such damages.
  
  
  5Other
  1)Items not covered by the Agreement or items that
  require further negotiation shall be settled by
  mutual agreement between you and CASIO.
  2)Any claim arising under or relating to this
  Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
  3)Any dispute arising under or relating to this
  Agreement shall come under the jurisdiction of the
  Tokyo District Court.
